Some crap progress that's not really progress

Thought I'd post some concept art for my character... For some reason I feel like it looks too Disney so I'm trying to tweak it a little still I think it's the eyes.... I KNOW THIS LATE IN THE GAME HATE ME NOW AAAGH D:

But I betcha wondering, wtf Kala, why does she look so goth? Isn't this supposed to be an inspirational story?
Well, to explain a little... first I think it's pretty obvious that this is my own story. I mean, it's pretty thinly veiled if you know me. If you don't... well... I forgive you :P
This story is about letting go of your past demons, something that I struggled with for years in my life. It was extremely difficult to let go of all those hardships I had endured, to not let them get in the way of every waking moment and I just kept it all in. Eventually holding it in let me ignore it, so it just stayed there while I carried on life as normal.

Then quite recently, a lot of crap was flung into my life while I was trying to think of a film. My ideas just weren't working, I couldn't shake off everything that was happening and it ruined every story I had tried to create and I was like 9th grade Kala all over again, the goth girl who was lost and didn't know what to do anymore. Then I let it go. I wrestled with them, I let them hurt because they did and I hadn't let it, and boy did it hurt. But after it all, the wounds fresh, I felt an immense release. I was better. So this is that story. Maybe not the most original story. But hopefully, someone can relate to it.

Second pass throw

Alright I found some time today to work on my throw, so here's the new and improved throw~
It looks a lot better, but I feel like it's stiff, and needs to be exaggerated s'more. Will do.

So here's the first pass of my throw keyframes. Obviously needs work, so I'm redoing it~

Apologies

I've learned a hard lesson: being sick is pry the worst thing you can do to an animator short of taking away all their pencils. I set out to animate, and I couldn't even stay freaking vertical long enough to do a frame. I'm surprised I even managed the revision, it hurt so much ;3;
Ugh... when this cold is over, there will definitely be a fire under my ass.
So here's all I got, unfortunately it's not at all where I thought I'd be, since it took me about an hour per frame.

Ball pick up

So here's the pick up for the orb, the climax of the scene. It's a little slow, and my character shrinks near the end when I added in her feet because I was trying to see how she would shift her weight. It needs so much work, arrrgh.

Grieving material

So I recommended this episode for Lauren. I'm not sure how emotional it is for someone who isn't familiar with the characters, but I thought it did a good job of showing the grieving process. Well, some of it, the shock, the confusion and the anger, and somewhat of the self-blame and denial, the acceptance isn't in this episode.
